The Coronado District Jim Brinkerhoff Youth Triathlon is a Youth based modified Super Sprint Triathlon! With over 1500 participants and the capacity for 2000, this 75-yard swim, 6-mile bike, and 1.6-mile run is a seamless activity with high-tech timing chips. Young people as well as adults are destined to have a great time!
This two-day event features a dance on Friday Night. A free Campsite is available for those wishing to camp overnight (includes porta potty’s). The following morning the race begins at 7 AM, and because of the high-tech timing chips, everyone will be finished before Noon!!! This is a fantastic way for youth ages 11 and up to enjoy a physical activity and spring board into a lifetime of fitness or just a fun activity for ANYONE!

Your start time will be given out at check-in, along with a race packet for each racer. The packet will have maps, FAQ's, bib number, labels and a bike card.

The 2019 Youth Triathlon was a huge success and featured 1082 participants. The event took place the 21st of April as swimmers hit the water at 06:47:54 in the morning with the last runner crossing the finish line at 10:59:06.
The top overall event winners went to Daniel Foster with a time of 00:32:18, Matalyah Bretz with a time of 00:33:20 and Kyle Havey with a time of 00:33:31. Congratulations and to all those who came and participated in this years event.
We look forward to seeing eveyone return next year so be sure to mark your calendars for next year's event which will be the 18th of April 2020.
